Empowering People With Disabilities Through Theater

About Penguin Project

All year long, theaters across the country burst to life with something nothing short of magical. On these stages artists step into beloved Broadway roles—each performance transformed by a powerful twist. Every character is brought to life by artists with disabilities, paired with dedicated peer mentors who support, encourage, and celebrate them at every turn. After months of rehearsals, they step into the spotlight together, delivering performances that radiate talent, friendship, and the unstoppable force of the human spirit. These shows don’t just entertain—they redefine what’s possible.

I knew lives would be changed, I just didn't realize that life would be mine.
